Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and ShopGrade ("we", "us") governing your use of the ShopGrade Chrome extension, the shopgrade.in website, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, installing the extension, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What the Service is

ShopGrade is a Chrome extension that audits publicly accessible Shopify storefronts for performance, SEO, automated accessibility indicators and conversion signals. It measures browser performance and public storefront signals and produces a scored report with recommendations. Optional user-requested visual AI asks Google PageSpeed to render the store's public homepage and optional product page without the user's browser cookies, then analyzes those screenshots only after a separate confirmation.

• Audits run against the public storefront, the same pages any visitor's browser can load. No merchant login or admin access is used or required.
• Eligible reports can be shared as links or by email. Pro and Agency reports can also be exported and white-labeled; credit-funded reports include a watermarked share link. Free reports are owner-only and cannot be shared, emailed, or exported.

Estimates, not guarantees

Scores, letter grades, automated accessibility indicators, AI Expert Diagnosis output, and any monetary figures shown in reports, including "revenue at risk", "revenue leakage", or "modeled opportunity" amounts, are directional models based on measured signals and research. They are estimates and recommendations, not legal certification, legal advice, or promises of income, revenue recovery, or business results. Actual outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. You are responsible for reviewing and accurately presenting these figures to your own clients.

Plans, quotas & billing

• Free: 1 lifetime owner-only measured audit generation, plus live storefront scores. The report excludes AI and screenshots and cannot be shared, emailed, or exported.
• Pro: 25 report generations per month, $25.99/month (or $20.79/month billed yearly).
• Agency: 50 report generations per month, $69.99/month (or $55.99/month billed yearly).
• Billing period: Pro and Agency can be paid monthly or yearly. Yearly billing is discounted (about 20%) as shown at checkout and on your account page.
• Report credits: pay-as-you-go credits are $19 for 2 report generations. Anyone can buy them, including Free users. Credits never expire, are non-refundable, and are used automatically once your plan's monthly generations are exhausted. Credit-based reports include the AI analysis and a shareable link and carry a small ShopGrade watermark; PDF export remains limited to Pro and Agency.

A "generation" is one complete audit report, including AI analysis where the plan includes it. Paid-plan quotas reset at the start of each UTC calendar month and unused monthly generations do not roll over; purchased credits are separate and do carry over. You can upgrade, downgrade, switch between monthly and yearly, or cancel at any time from your account page. Plan changes apply to your existing subscription and are prorated by Paddle; ordinary cancellations take effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep full access until then. Payments, subscriptions and credit purchases are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record, so your card details never touch our servers. Prices may change; we'll give existing subscribers reasonable advance notice before any change affects them.

Acceptable use

• One account per person. Don't create multiple accounts to farm free quota. The Service enforces a coarse client-provided device marker and a small keyed network cap on free audits, plus request limits on hosted reports, as described in the Privacy Policy.
• No reselling access. Where your plan or report credit enables sharing, you may share the reports you generate, but you may not resell, rent, or share access to the Service itself.
• Public storefronts only. Only audit stores that are publicly accessible. Don't use the Service to probe, overload, or attack any website.
• No tampering. Don't reverse engineer, bypass quotas or technical limits, or interfere with the Service's operation.
• Lawful use. Don't use the Service for anything illegal or to misrepresent audit results in a deceptive way.

Your account

Keep your login credentials safe, you're responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate account information. You can permanently delete your account from the account dashboard, or contact support@shopgrade.in if self-service deletion fails. Deletion immediately ends any subscription and removes ShopGrade service data; see the Privacy Policy for records that must be retained.

Your reports, our Service

We own the Service, the extension, scoring engine, site, and branding. The reports you generate are yours to use, subject to their plan features: eligible paid and credit-funded reports may be shared by secure link, and Pro and Agency reports may be white-labeled and included in your own exported deliverables. Free reports remain owner-only and cannot be shared, emailed, or exported. Server-hosted report links expire after 15 days. You can permanently delete an eligible report sooner from your account, which disables its link immediately and cannot be reversed. You may not present ShopGrade itself as your own product.

Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including quota farming, abuse of audited websites, or attempts to circumvent technical limits. Where reasonable, we'll warn you first. You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time; paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. In short: a subscription's first payment is refundable only when requested within 7 days and the subscription has generated 0 or 1 reports. Renewal payments and all report-credit purchases are non-refundable. Paid access ends when an approved refund is processed; an ordinary cancellation instead remains active until the paid period ends.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. For material changes we'll notify you (for example by email or an in-product notice) before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
